Social media can be good or bad depending on how you use it. Its very beneficial to connect with people who you have met over the years and to keep up with old friends. However it do this comes with a double edge sword. Yeah its made our lives easier but it also makes obtaining a job harder if you post things that aren't appropriate for all viewers to see. Also what happened to people privacy for example Jo Pa former Penn State Coach dies and everyone is either facebooking, tweeting so on and so forth. Twenty years ago that would have never happened. Its great to know what is going on but there comes a points where people need to show some respect for other peoples business. But overall I do think its definitely something that will improve our culture over the coarse of time!
Since that incident, nearly every organization's awareness of sensitive issues exploded. Social media certainly has several issues which may be exploited, these create huge hurdles to overcome.
